The Feather River Center recognizes the generosity and support of the many agencies that have helped to fund and advance our programs and development in recent years, including:
Supplemental Benefits Fund – administers funds from the FERC Settlement Agreement through the City of Oroville, using the Feather River Conceptual Plan as a guideline to invest in recreational and related projects with a nexus (proximity) of the Feather River, improving the quality of life and stimulate economic development in the Oroville Region. The SBF has been a major support for equipment, program development, and the vision of bringing events to the region.
Division of Boating and Waterways – promotes public access, safety, and education with environmentally sound practices for local communities. DBW has supported our educational offerings with grants for equipment and school programs.
North Valley Community Foundation – provided funding for Paradise students recovering from the Camp Fire to experience the healing nature of outdoor recreation and the ForeBay Aquatic Center.
Explore Butte County – supports the Feather River Center’s efforts to promote local events encouraging visitors, tourism, and recreation through the natural and developed resources in Butte County.
California Department of Fish and Wildlife - $1000 grant for environmental education materials to use with K-12 programs
TriCounties Bank – is a donor in support of our youth outreach and education of water safety, outdoor education, and recreation.
Historic State Theater, Downtown Oroville – provided the venue and facilities for the Wild and Scenic Film Festival 2020.
Oroville Chamber of Commerce – Provides support in marketing, advertising and materials related to our local activities
